In today’s world, we look online for our baby products, and that includes picking out bedding for our newborns. We want crib sheets and other bedding that is safe and comfortable for our babies and scrolling through page after page online is not conducive to our already limited time. As a Newborn Care Specialist (and new mom!), I have used so many types of bedding over the years. I’ve picked out my top five for you to easily make a decision and move on to more important things, like snuggling that baby!
Number one on the list are sheets from Natemia. This company was started by a mom and dad after the birth of their second baby to create products that are “natural, safe, and built to last.” Their sheets are made of soft, 100% organic jersey cotton, and are GOTS* certified. The only downside is that these sheets only come in two color options, white or gray. $$$
Coming in second are Magnolia Organics. I love them because this company not only has sheets for your baby, but textiles for the whole home! Their products are made of GOTS* certified 100% organic cotton and the company boasts a low rate of return. They also pride themselves on comfort and sustainability. For the best bang for your buck, Burt’s Bees comes in third on the list. I love Burt’s Bees personally because they are huge advocates of safe sleep practices and always have a larger selection of products to choose from.They are yet another company who uses GOTS* certified 100% organic cotton. Next up, we have Biloban Baby Bedding. Instead of being GOTS certified, Biloban is Oeko-Tex certified. Biloban also advocates safe sleep, but what I love that sets them apart is their tailor-made custom size bedding. Buy on Amazon here: crib sheets $
Finally, in fifth on my list, is American Baby Company. The options for sheets from this company are vast. They have percale, chenille, cotton jersey, microfiber, and organic cotton. All of their sheets have a “premium 9” deep pocket for a snug, secure, safe fit.” Their products are the only non-organic certified on my list, but that doesn’t take away from their quality! $$
No matter your budget, or your style, my five fun favorite brands of bedding are sure to complement your lifestyle. All while being safe and comfortable for our babies!
